Quality time with Mum on the South Pacific

It is my second day back on dry land since the 15th of November when I boarded the Pacific Dawn in Vila.

It was an amazing trip, meeting heaps of really cool people, catching up with talented entertainers I already knew, and hooking up and hanging out with my Mum who boarded the Pacific Jewel in Auckland.

It was a fun and adventurous cruise. And right off the bat I like to thank Tony Laffan and Mr Ash Puriri and all of the entertainment team for making the cruising experience one to remember. Your hospitality, humility ("Humility is the only true wisdom by which we prepare our minds for all the possible changes of life.") and friendship will resinate in me for a very long time. Thank you.

This is how it went my friends, the ones of you who have loged on to see what I’ve been up to. Let me share a little of my life with you...

Fly into port of Vila was as beautiful as ever, and was cool seeing the Pacific Dawn anchored in port. Sitting there looking like a floating Party bomb waiting to go off

Can’t party on and empty stomach... now this is a restaurant I can recommend

Meeting and hanging with cool, fun people is one of the major perks of the cruising gigs...

There is nothing better than watching 2000 people at sail away, letting their hair down and partying like life doesn't exist. Being able to be part of and share in someones holiday is a gift, and I will think about the moments always.

Being able to part of the cruise entertainment team and help my new friends chill out and forget about their problems for a while is always an amazing experience...

Thank you all for the love, nice comments and support... may your lifes be inriched by the love you give...

Happy Silly Season my friends.....

Hanging with Mum when she boarded in Auckland was very entertaining and therapeutic... nobody brings you back to earth like mum...

International singer and entertainer Ash Puriri in the photo above was an awesome friend and inspiration on the Pacific Jewel. With his knowledge, talent and chrisma the whole cruise was a wonderful adventure, for myself, my mum and all those he came into contact with...

Thanks for the special moments and motivation Ash, my friend...

Once on board we had 3 sea days to Brisbane...

Leaving Brisbane on a warm afternoon In November was beautiful

Following the coast up before we turned to head for NZ was as tranquil as ever...

Follow the New Zealand coast south heading for Dunedin was breathtaking...

I flew from Dunedin to Auckland, spent two nights with my family...

And boarded the Pacific Jewel with Mum as my guest...

My Mum is a surrogate grandmother at the childrens hospital in Auckland, so while their I poped my head in for a while to put a few much needed smiles on little faces...

It was very empowering and emotionally spiritual... nobody tells the truth like a child...

Thanks to my grounding Angels... It was a pleasure...

Merry Christmas Eva and all her friends... Sending Love, light and laughs always,

Mad Mike.

Time to cruise... and we're off again...

Straight to the bay of islands... Cheers!

Back to Sydney were we unload a very tired lot of holiday cruisers and loaded some anxious and excited ones... I love the buzz you get off really excited people...

"What... do you mean... I can keep this plastic P&O cocktail cup... that's amazing... I am love'n this already"

Welcome aboard...

Who ordered the cocktail...?

Straight to Is of Pines... with everything in full swing...

Prefect day on the Isle of Pines...

Next day... Lifou...

Lifou was the last stop for Mum and I as we were disembarking in Vanuatu and flying out the next day...

The last night was full of goodbyes to comrades and new found friends...

Merry Christmas to all... may you all get what you wish for!
